When you use PM Buddy, we collect the following information:

• Account information — your name, email address, and role when you sign up
• Project data — projects, campaigns, documents, milestones, risks, and team information you create inside PM Buddy
• Usage data — pages you visit and actions you take, collected via Google Analytics 4
• Authentication data — login session tokens managed by Supabase

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the PM Buddy platform
• To send you notifications about your projects (milestones, risks, team updates)
• To send account-related emails such as email verification and password reset
• To understand how people use PM Buddy so we can make it better

3. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the third-party services that power PM Buddy:

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com)
• Google Analytics — usage analytics (analytics.google.com)
• Brevo — transactional email delivery (brevo.com)
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI-powered features including the PM Buddy Assistant and document generation
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure (vercel.com)

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with row-level security enabled, meaning only you can access your own data. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. We do not store payment information.

5. Cookies

PM Buddy uses cookies for two purposes:

• Session cookies — to keep you logged in (essential, cannot be disabled)
• Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4 to understand usage patterns (can be blocked via browser settings)

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your project data
• Opt out of analytics tracking by using browser privacy settings or an ad blocker

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

8. Children

PM Buddy is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice inside PM Buddy.
